Áreas de atuação: possui ampla experiência em Física de materiais e dispositivos semicondutores, efeito da radiação ionizante na matéria condensada, polímeros condutores, materiais cerâmicos, processos de micro e nano estruturas para desenvolvimento de dispositivos híbridos, sensores químicos e detectores de radiação ionizante; circuitos, dispositivos eletrônicos, microcontroladores, caracterização de materiais (difração de raios-x, microscopia de força atômica-AFM, microscopia eletrônica de varredura-MEV) e processos de fotolitografia.
